This website provides information about a proposed settlement of a class action lawsuit which alleges that late fees were charged on mortgage payments made in Wells Fargo Bank branches that were timely, but due to programming issues, were dated after the date of payment.  It was alleged that the late fees were charged, and not reversed or waived.  The Defendants deny all claims made against them.
